Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Loves: Understanding more about Buddhism and also the history of Chinatown through the museum.

Our Advice: Recommended dress code is sleeved tops and bottoms that cover the knee though sarongs/shawls are provided. Don't miss out on the rooftop which houses the Prayer Wheel and an Orchid Garden. Meditation classes are also available: Email buddhistculture@btrts.org.sg or call +65 6854 7022 for more information.

Experience a sense of inner peace and enlightenment in this striking Buddhist temple that sits in the heart of Chinatown. The place of worship actually houses the tooth relic from the first enlightened being. The remains were found from a collapsed stupa in Myanmar in 1980.

The temple and museum offers an interesting mix of serenity and architectural style, providing a cocoon where you can get away from the busy city life. Find yourself getting lost as you explore its ornate design and carvings across the five levels of the building.
